only yesterday did i fully comprehend the meaning of that quote...life's fleeting joys and all its sorrows..
one of my closest friends passed away yesterday..she had terminal cancer which i had no idea abt..
according to the letter she wrote me which her brother read over the phone..she wanted me to remember her as she was..not the skinny..pale..bald person that she had become..
she fought it for as long as she could..not wanting to be kept alive by a machine..she signed a DNR which her father couldnt contest because she was legally 18..
we grew up together..she will always be a part of me..
so many memories flashed tru my head after luke had hung up..stolen ice-creams..broken bones..scraped knees..stupid cats..fish funerals..madonna lilies..bicycle races..purple rooms..
im gonna miss her..she said things that made no sense to others but perfect sense to me..we had that balance in our lives..
some say that you only find that kind of friend once in a lifetime..chrissy was one of a kind..
she knew all the bad things abt me..yet she still stuck tru..lol..that went both ways..
man..she had horrible mood swings when it was "the time of the month"..she was worse that garfield when it came to the sleep area..she had a thing for one of my best friends..which until this day i do not understand..i talked to my bestie yest after crying myself out for an hour..the first thing she said was not "hello"..but "i know u watched lipstick jungle"..XD XD..i love u amy..she told me some stuff which totally made me feel better..i know she's no longer in pain..and i hope to god that she's happy..i love you chrissy..i want you to know that..forever and always..remember ?..thats wat you said be4 u cut me..i have the perfect song for you..Leigh Nash-Ocean Size Love..i'll play it 2day..while i burn those lilies that you adore..and that chocolate that you can never gt enuf of..even when u cut yr tongue..*sigh*..bora-bora islands..u always went the distance..ciao bella..i hope that that cockroach wasnt your doing..cause if i ever see you again..i will kill you..XD..4ever and always chrissy...forever and always..
